This page explains what the Assiotis family does with the details you give us on this website. We keep it simple: we use them only to handle your order and, if you ask, to tell you about the next harvest.
Who we are
The Assiotis family, olive oil producers in Akrounta, Limassol, Cyprus. We are responsible for your details.
What we collect
When you order: your name, phone number, email address if you give it, any notes, what you ordered and the language you used. When you join the waiting list: your email address and language.
Why we use it
To handle your order request: to call you, confirm the order and arrange the pickup in Akrounta. We use the waiting list only to email you when the next harvest is ready. We never sell your details or use them for advertising.
Our reason for using it
For orders, because you asked us to prepare an order for you. For the waiting list, because you asked to join it. You can change your mind at any time.
Where your details are kept
The website and its database run on Cloudflare. When you order, Cloudflare's email service sends the family an email with your order, and once a week a backup copy of all orders and the waiting list. Cloudflare only handles your details on our behalf.
How long we keep them
Order details are deleted automatically 2 years after the order, and we delete backup emails older than that too. Waiting-list emails are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details, or to take you off the waiting list. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus. dataprotection.gov.cy ↗
Cookies
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser only remembers your language choice. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. The security check that stops spam (Cloudflare Turnstile) may use technical information such as your IP address to tell people from bots.
